Hi, I’m Debbi McCune, and my life’s journey has taken me down a path I never expected—but one that has shaped me in profound ways. My husband, the love of my life, was diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer’s in 2016. Since then, I’ve been his care partner, navigating the ups and downs of this journey with compassion, resilience, and an open heart.

As a co-founder of Living Well With Dementia Sisters and a volunteer Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association, I’ve had the honor of helping others facing similar challenges. I’m also a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional, blending knowledge with personal experience to support families on this path.
When I’m not sharing resources or connecting with others in the dementia care community, you’ll likely find me hiking the beautiful trails around Sisters, Oregon, with my two dogs, Sophi and Mac. This blog is my way of opening up about the lessons, joys, and challenges I’ve encountered, with the hope of creating a space for connection, support, and shared understanding.
Thank you for being here—I hope you find comfort, inspiration, and a sense of community in these pages.
